Last summer, Joe and I watched Wind River which instantly became one of my favorite movies. The movie, which takes place on the Wind River Indian Reservation, led me to devour as much information as possible about life on reservations as well as how crime is handled between local and federal authorities - including this book.
I really wanted to like this book. Really. I mean, I didn't hate it but I also didn't love it? The premise is interesting and I enjoyed the character development but I just wanted more - the ending felt very predictable.
