I spend way too much time and money on the internet so you don't have to.

Some of the links below are affiliate links, meaning, at no additional cost to you, I could possibly earn a commission if you click through and make a purchase.
Listen, I know I've been slacking when it comes to shopping links but they take so long to assemble and I've honestly been trying to do less shopping on a weekly basis.

This week, you're in for a treat. Like so many of you, I have become utterly addicted to TikTok over the past year-ish and I have stockpiled so many of them into a blackhole of favorites. I kept the dancing gray sweatpants links for myself but the gems below are almost just as nice:
Not a TikTok find but something you can't pass up! I have an odd obsession with swizzle sticks and I found these a few years ago. Puerto Rican artist Enoc Perez built up a huge collection of vintage swizzle sticks which inspired this collection of reproductions. Perfect for your bar cart or a housewarming gift, it's a pack of 42 sticks and currently on sale for only $5!
"A couple months ago, I read that Seacrets, the behemoth, island-themed bar and restaurant in Ocean City—supposedly the largest bar on Maryland’s coast—had planned a mask-burning party to celebrate the end of pandemic restrictions. The bash got canceled. But it was merely an issue of logistics, not because Seacrets wasn’t ready for vaxed-and-waxed summer. So, you know, I went."
Generations of people grew up believing that their right to an abortion was guaranteed. What happens when that guarantee evaporates?
A fun mini-game about pop-ups and the deviousness of websites and apps. EVIL CORP wants your data. It will use every trick in the book (and a few more, just for fun). Your mission is as follows: do not accept any terms & conditions, say no to all notifications, and always opt out of cookies.
As a bonus, check out this Reddit thread "What improved your quality of life so much, you wish you did it sooner?"which is a magical treasure trove of advice.

One that I immediately put into practice? "Permanently placed my phone on Do Not Disturb and only allow calls from Contacts. This one change saved me from constant disruptive unwanted calls. Life is good on No Ring Lane." I also love the idea of, "Independent blankets for my wife and I in bed. Incredible how much better you sleep when there's no waking up with blankets pulled half off or using one that's too heavy or too light."
Watching:
Although a huge comic book nerd, I admit that I didn't know anything at all about Shang-Chi. CONSIDER ME A FAN. I loved every second of this movie and it's possibly my favorite Marvel movie so far...because it didn't feel like a Marvel movie...but in the best way possible.
(Still) Reading:
...and still loving Malibu Rising. If I gave into temptation, I would stay up and knock it out in one sitting but I am pacing myself.

A little bit of this, a little bit of that, and updated daily. By clicking through, you'll also have access to my other playlists. I am a playlist wizard, trust me.
It me. I'm Collin. Shockingly, I hate talking about myself but here are the CliffsNotes. 32, Texan turned cruise ship character turned Texan turned Chicagoan turned Texan. Event designer and planner. Interior designer and stylist. Corporate badass. Spotify playlist-makin' fiend. Fiancé and double dog dad. Cursed with an aggressive gluten intolerance but also a passion for bread and no f*cks to give. Why a newsletter? It gives me a creative outlet with a deadline and my therapist says these things are important. Plus, I love to read, shop, share, and most importantly spend time on the internet. I don't sleep.
