I spend way too much time and money on the internet so you don't have to.

Welcome to v32. As of last Monday, I am now 32 so it's the golden issue? Fitting because it's packed full of SOME GOOD ASS SHIT.

First up, I am now completely addicted to YNAB and it's truly what I pair with my first cup of coffee each morning. YNAB (You Need A Budget) is an online budgeting app that has completely changed my relationship with money. To be honest, I thought I had a good grasp on my finances but I was very wrong. I will admit it's a lot to understand at first and I found their system confusing but I kept at it for the entirety of their 34 day trial. If you have told yourself you need a budget or find yourself questioning where all your money is going, YNAB is the tool for you. If you are interested, reply to this email and I am happy to walk you through it! There's nothing in it for me - I'm just really blown away by my new understanding of my money. (Nothing about that sentence is anything I'd ever imagine myself saying.)

In more fun news, this week's "Add To Cart" is SO GOOD! I picked up some new eyebrow gel, a self-tanning mist, a killer wallet, and a vaccine card holder. Plus, Walmart has new Tevas dupes for under $10 and I updated their shopping list because they continue to impress! Trust me, go ahead and pull that credit card out.

'The Nanny' star on being a '90s icon, schmoozing with Gwyneth Paltrow and Princess Di, and bringing Fran Fine to the stage.

A millennial stay-at-home mom from South Carolina, a gay couple from Texas, and a social worker in New York believed in QAnon. Now that Biden is president, they’re not sure where to go from here.

Added this to the pile...
Brandi Carlile was born into a musically gifted, impoverished family on the outskirts of Seattle and grew up in a constant state of change, moving from house to house, trailer to trailer, fourteen times in as many years. Though imperfect in every way, her dysfunctional childhood was as beautiful as it was strange, and as nurturing as it was difficult. At the age of five, Brandi contracted bacterial meningitis, which almost took her life, leaving an indelible mark on her formative years and altering her journey into young adulthood.

As an openly gay teenager, Brandi grappled with the tension between her sexuality and her faith when her pastor publicly refused to baptize her on the day of the ceremony. Shockingly, her small town rallied around Brandi in support and set her on a path to salvation where the rest of the misfits and rejects find it: through twisted, joyful, weird, and wonderful music.

In Broken Horses, Brandi Carlile takes readers through the events of her life that shaped her very raw art—from her start at a local singing competition where she performed Elton John’s “Honky Cat” in a bedazzled white polyester suit, to her first break opening for Dave Matthews Band, to many sleepless tours over fifteen years and six studio albums, all while raising two children with her wife, Catherine Shepherd. This hard-won success led her to collaborations with personal heroes like Elton John, Dolly Parton, Mavis Staples, Pearl Jam, Tanya Tucker, and Joni Mitchell, as well as her peers in the supergroup The Highwomen, and ultimately to the Grammy stage, where she converted millions of viewers into instant fans.
I'm basically a lifestyle influencer because here's my before/during/after of this TikTok viral product. I found the brush a little cumbersome but you just apply the product to your brows, leave it on for at least 15 minutes (but up to two hours) and BOOM. I left it on for maybe 15 minutes because I was running late but I was impressed and am excited to leave it on longer next time. Definitely fills in some of your patchiness and further defines your brows.
TIBAL has been raving about this stuff and it was 50% off last week as part of an ULTA flash sale so I scooped it up. Fast forward to me being a full-fledged St. Tropez disciple. Unless I'm doing it completely wrong, I like that I just mist it on my face and there's no rubbing in. I saw great color after two days and it just makes me feel better and look more awake. I think it's probably best every other day.
I don't know much about dresses but I do know I love Target and this one looks comfy as all hell.
Lou Lou in Chelsea uses this glass for their signature cocktail - the Mexican Stiletto - and I can't decide if I love it or hate it. They could be super fun for a special occasion like a shower!
There's lots of conflicting information floating around about whether or not to laminate your vaccine card - I think the latest and loudest voice says it's fine to laminate because we'll all get new cards if we need boosters. However, just in case, I opted to throw mine in one of these little resealable badge holders. They're super cheap and at least I don't have to worry about spilling on it. I also took a picture of my card and saved it to my DropBox. If I'm feeling super ambitious this week, I'd like to shrink it down to business card size and have a copy for my wallet and passport.
I've posted this wallet before but I finally got mine and I'm a huge fan. It's a little bigger than I anticipated but it holds so many cards, has a window for your license, and a zipper pouch. Plus, it comes in every color imaginable and it's less than $20. Definitely looking forward it into my bag.
This is a GREAT dupe. Less than $10 (compared to $50!) and comes in the trendy colorful option here as well as a black, tribal, tie-dye, leopard, and white. Do not delay - these just went online and will sell out ASAP. The website is being a little wonky regarding shipping vs pick-up so make sure to double check the options.
Submitted by a reader, this is a great cover-up for any of the swimsuits featured over the past few weeks. It's available via Prime, comes in a ton of colors, and is under $20.
With a little something for everyone, these soft, spring-y hues are here to boost your mood (along with the longer days). (Yes, I know I missed Easter but I have a lot going on.)
Listen, Walmart continues to step it up. Admittedly, I'm not a frequent in-store shopper (it stresses me out) but I keep stumbling upon such good online finds. Click through for men's, women's, and home gems.
Huge Ma — or @TurboVax — has helped thousands of New Yorkers get vaccinated and now he’s using his platform to combat anti-Asian racism.
With her new album, Taylor Swift teaches a powerful lesson: Don't dwell on what you can't change. Focus on what you can.
The rapper is at the top of her artistic game, finishing college, and defending her right to be young, Black, and free.
There's a good reason Meghan wore shoes that were too big for her.

It me. I'm Collin. Shockingly, I hate talking about myself but here are the CliffsNotes. 32, Texan turned cruise ship character turned Texan turned Chicagoan turned Texan. Event designer and planner. Interior designer and stylist. Corporate badass. Spotify playlist-makin' fiend. Partner and double dog dad. Cursed with an aggressive gluten intolerance but also a passion for bread and no f*cks to give. Why a newsletter? It gives me a creative outlet with a deadline and my therapist says these things are important. Plus, I love to read, shop, share, and most importantly spend time on the internet. I don't sleep.
