I spend way too much time and money on the internet so you don't have to.

How are you feeling this week? I'm definitely anxious but also incredibly hopeful.
Anyone else watch The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story, the second season of American Crime Story? It's really well done and based on the reporting and subsequent book from Maureen Orth, a Vanity Fair special correspondent. I watched the series and then read the book but you could easily reverse the order.
As the header implies, these are piling up on my nightstand waiting to be read:
During the languid days of the Christmas break, a group of thirtysomething friends from Oxford meet to welcome in the New Year together, a tradition they began as students ten years ago. For this vacation, they've chosen an idyllic and isolated estate in the Scottish Highlands--the perfect place to get away and unwind by themselves. They arrive on December 30th, just before a historic blizzard seals the lodge off from the outside world. But after a decade, the weight of secret resentments has grown too heavy for the group's tenuous nostalgia to bear. Amid the boisterous revelry of New Year's Eve, the cord holding them together snaps. On New Year's Day, one of them is dead, and another of them did it.
After Lore Perseous’ family is brutally murdered, she does everything she can to protect herself from the same fate, even if it means hiding in plain sight in New York City. However, she is soon tracked down by two participants of the Agon — a traditional hunt of the Greek gods that occurs every seven years — who both desperately need her help. Will Lore decide to rejoin the Agon and avenge her family’s death with so much at risk?
Have y'all heard about this candle? It's a supposed dupe for Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanille which is the supposed cologne of Harry Styles. Given the hysteria, it's consistently sold out online but probably hiding out at your local Target.

It me. I'm Collin. Shockingly, I hate talking about myself but here are the CliffsNotes. 31, Texan turned cruise ship character turned Texan turned Chicagoan turned Texan. Event designer and planner. Interior designer and stylist. Corporate badass. Partner and double dog dad. Cursed with an aggressive gluten intolerance but also a passion for bread and no f*cks to give. Why a newsletter? It gives me a creative outlet with a deadline and my therapist says these things are important. Plus, I love to read, shop, share, and most importantly spend time on the internet. I don't sleep.
