I spend way too much time and money on the internet so you don't have to.

Life has been kicking my ass lately (i.e. 2020) and I know I'm not alone. I am completely depleted. However, I find myself looking forward to curating this newsletter each week - filled with finds that bring me joy.

Although I haven't featured it each issue, music is an integral part of my day. As my nightstand pile continues to grow, enjoy Queued Up, featuring some of my current Spotify playlists. (Rest assured, book recommendations aren't going anywhere - I've got some PTO planned and quite an ambitious reading list.)

In other news, I hope you all enjoyed the thirteen Gift Guides because I need a solid year to forget how much I hated them by the end of it all. After curating over 650 individual items, everyone on my list is getting gift cards.

If you made it this far and didn't autoscroll to Add to Cart, thank you. As this little passion project of mine continues to evolve, I'm grateful to have you along for the ride. If you find yourself a loyal reader, it would mean the world if you helped me find a handful of new subscribers - there's a link at the bottom that allows them to subscribe directly.

I feel like I throw this thing out into the silent void each week so know that I'm always open to feedback, suggestions, or just validation in general. Hit Reply and let's chat.

Hang in there - we're going to get through this. *gestures vaguely*

What am I listening to this month? I thought you'd never ask. Features Lake Street Dive, Daulton Hopkins, and Basic Tape

It's been a weird year to say the least and here are the songs I found myself turning to again and again. Wildly eclectic and hopefully immensely therapeutic. (Oddly enough, few of these songs made my Spotify Wrapped.)
I'm always adding to this playlist which I throw on as I wind down for the night or pour a giant cup of cold brew on Sunday mornings. Features Kacey, Harry, Maggie, and Taylor.
  • Individual item recommendations are coming back next week!
I couldn't let a week go by without books and thank goodness for the New York Times. They rounded up 62 new titles, from thrillers to cookbooks to photography books and more, for every type of reader.
Out of the over 650 individual items collected and curated over the past few weeks, these are my 50 favorites.

It has nothing to do with Catherine O’Hara, Donald Trump, or sequels.

Whether you were listening to Megan Thee Stallion on repeat or just bumping the 'Hamilton' soundtrack, Spotify's retrospective is a snapshot of just how weird this year was.

Here's an article about why the TikTok youths apparently hate Matthew Morrison with a fiery passion.

It me. I'm Collin. Shockingly, I hate talking about myself but here are the CliffsNotes. 31, Texan turned cruise ship character turned Texan turned Chicagoan turned Texan. Event designer and planner. Interior designer and stylist. Corporate badass. Partner and double dog dad. Cursed with an aggressive gluten intolerance but also a passion for bread and no f*cks to give. Why a newsletter? It gives me a creative outlet with a deadline and my therapist says these things are important. Plus, I love to read, shop, share, and most importantly spend time on the internet. I don't sleep.
